Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, Hilmar Unified will implement an updated smart device policy to reflect the new California Assembly Bill 3216 (AB 3216), a new law requiring school districts to limit or prohibit the use of smart devices to support student learning and wellbeing more effectively.
